Appointed Director of Human Resources at the Fonds National de la Recherche et de l’Innovation pour le Développement by the Council of Ministers at its meeting of May 17, 2023, Mrs Fatoumata ZONGO was installed in her new role on May 23, 2023 by the Managing Director, Dr Babou André BATIONO. FONRID’s General Manager invited his new colleague to work with openness and respect for her colleagues. He wished her much courage and good health in carrying out her mission.

The new Director of Human Resources reassured the General Manager and his colleagues of her commitment and determination to fulfill the mission entrusted to her with the utmost dedication. She pledged “to do everything in my power to help create an environment conducive to the achievement of FONRID’s mission, and to respond effectively to the challenges of the moment”.

Prior to her appointment as FONRID’s Director of Human Resources, Ms. ZONGO held the position of Head of the Personnel Movement Department in the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. In addition to her diploma in Human Resources Management obtained at ENAM, Ms. ZONGO also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
