Research granting agencies, members of the Sub-Saharan Africa Science Granting Council Initiative (GCI), met in Accra, Ghana, from February 27 to March 3, 2023. The objective of the meeting was to review the activities of Phase 2 of the capacity building projects on research management, to review the activities related to strengthening science, technology and innovation policies, gender and inclusion and to identify the perspectives for the 3rd phase.
